Q: . . . What do I get for my IAPA dues?
A:
. . . As a
participating industry member -- regardless of membership
classification --
. . . .
an individual firm receives substantive industry representation at
various levels.
| Rules
and regulations dealing with specifications, labor, materials and
procedures all affect the bottom line of any company doing business
with Illinois. Our state government provides a major share of funds for
constructing and maintaining highways, roads, runways, and taxiways.
IAPA keeps its Members informed primarily about state level political
issues, and occasionally about national issues which are expected to
have bearing on our industry at large. On those occasions when it's
important for Members to get involved in legislation, whether
nationally or at the state level, IAPA helps keep you attuned and
offers suggestions on actions you may wish to take that are intended to
be to your benefit. |
||
| As
an associate or suppler member the association acts as a marketplace
where reputable industry vendors come in contact with the major firms
doing business in the public infrastructure arena. |
||
| Also,
all members are encouraged to support and patronize fellow IAPA members
when in the market for goods and services. |
||
| IAPA
also provides its Members an opportunity to network with colleagues and
share information on issues affecting the HMA industry across the state
as well as and around the country. |
||
| In
summary, whether you are a HMA producer, equipment manufacturer,
contractor, industry supplier or consulting engineer, IAPA can help
maximize your company's business in the HMA industry. |
